What's New for 2026
ORF ON launched in 2023 as the successor to the ORF TVthek, offering a significantly improved streaming experience and longer content availability windows (up to 6 months vs the previous 7-day limit). Since January 2024, ORF is funded by a per-household contribution (ORF-Beitrag) of €15.30/month, replacing the old device-based GIS licence fee. ORF Kids launched as a dedicated digital-only live stream for children. The platform receives regular app updates across all supported devices.
Regional Availability
